Green Asset Management How to manage the energy transition of your company's assets?
July 22 | Santiago, Chile
Green asset management primarily involves analyzing the life cycle of assets for clean energy production, as well as any losses. The asset manager must always consider the risk of potential losses (risk assessment) to help ensure the rational and efficient use of energy resources.
Unfortunately, other tasks, such as coordinating engineering, finance, maintenance and operations companies, as well as technical reviews, certifications, and site visits, are very time-consuming. As a result, however, optimization potential in energy production, which could have led to additional revenue, is often lost.
Objectives
Understand the context of the energy transition and its strategic, regulatory, and market impact on asset management, and integrate sustainability and energy efficiency criteria into asset planning, operation, and investment.
Strategic Plan
Definition of Green Asset Management (GAM). Transition approach: decarbonization, resource efficiency, and circular economy. Step-by-step roadmap for Transition in GAM.
Analysis and Tools
RPI (Risk Priority Index) applied to energy efficiency to prioritize which assets to intervene and how, analysis of energy-intensive assets, comparison of CAPEX/OPEX alternatives.
Strategy for Transition
The energy transition is no longer optional: it has become a strategic, regulatory, and competitive imperative. Companies managing physical assets must adapt quickly to continue operating efficiently, safely, and sustainably. This training aims to help organizations manage this transformation by addressing five key challenges:
- Regulatory and environmental alignment.
- Investment and renewal decisions.
- Capturing savings and opportunities.
- Developing new internal capabilities.
- Digitalization and “Twin Transition”.
Energy Efficiency in Asset Maintenance and Operations.
July 23 | Santiago, Chile
Today, energy efficiency is no longer just a technical issue, but a strategic business factor. Energy costs, regulatory demands, and sustainability commitments compel organizations to operate and maintain their assets with the lowest possible consumption, without compromising reliability or productivity.
Therefore, this training helps transform maintenance and operations into direct levers for savings, competitiveness, and sustainability for the organization.
Objectives
Understand the fundamental principles of energy efficiency and its impact on asset management, operation, and maintenance to strengthen technical and strategic decision-making based on energy performance, cost, and asset life cycle analysis.
Analysis and Indicators
Use of indicators to evaluate and improve energy performance: MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTF (Mean Time To Failure), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair). Integration of preventive (PM), predictive (PdM), and proactive (PA) maintenance with efficiency objectives.
Energy Saving Plans and Programs
Design and structuring of consumption reduction plans. Prioritization of energy improvement actions. Implementation and monitoring of optimization programs.
