The concept of corporate sustainability has gained importance in recent years both in the organizational sphere from a theoretical and practical standpoint. While there is still a lack of clarity about what constitutes corporate sustainability and how best to achieve it, many academics suggest that the path to adopting sustainability principles is obtained through the adoption of a sustainability-oriented organizational culture. In this article, we provide a closer examination of this suggested link between an organization’s cultural orientation and the pursuit of corporate sustainability principles.
